Taftie is the European network of leading national innovation agencies. Innosuisse took over the Presidency for one year at the beginning of 2024. The funding agency will use this opportunity to further strengthen its active involvement in this energetic network and maintain and expand exchanges with partner organisations in Europe.
Taftie was founded in 1992 and is now made up of 34 organisations from 28 different European countries.
The network supports its members in implementing innovation programmes in their own countries, establishing innovation ecosystems and initiating international partnerships. Taftie members exchange information and benefit from each other’s experiences. They regularly work on current topics of common interest in task forces, networks and working groups.
Exchanges to be further intensified
At the start of 2024, Innosuisse took over the Presidency of Taftie from the Croatian innovation agency Hamag Bicro. In taking over the Presidency, Innosuisse is underlining the importance of the Taftie network for Switzerland.
Annalise Eggimann, CEO Innosuisse: “Networks like Taftie are key for Switzerland, especially when it’s not an easy time for Switzerland’s relationship with Europe and we have the status of a non-associated third country in respect of Horizon Europe. With our Presidency, we want to further intensify exchanges of knowledge and experience with other European funding agencies and cultivate bilateral partnerships.”
