Implement your research results on the market

The BRIDGE programme is jointly offered by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and Innosuisse. It offers two funding opportunities at the intersection of basic research and science-based innovation for young and experienced researchers.

Are you a researcher who wants to turn your findings into a marketable product?

Then dare to take the step into the world of business practice!

We can offer you these two funding opportunities:

For young researchers: BRIDGE Proof of Concept

Do you have basic research experience and have an idea for developing your research results into a marketable product? And are you looking for an opportunity to test and refine your idea as part of a project?

Then the BRIDGE Proof of Concept is just what you’re looking for.

BRIDGE Proof of Concept specifically helps young researchers to apply their research results and gain the confidence needed to enter the market. The projects may target innovations of all kinds from all research areas.

You can find full information about the BRIDGE Proof of Concept funding opportunity here.

For experienced researchers: BRIDGE Discovery

Are you an experienced researcher with a clear and innovative idea? And would you like to develop the scientific foundations to implement it? BRIDGE Discovery can help you.

The BRIDGE Discovery funding opportunity offers contributions to experienced researchers who are currently working on both basic and applied research, to help them realise the innovation potential of their research findings. It allows the researchers to forge ahead with their vision during the critical pre-competitive phase.

You can find full information about the BRIDGE Discovery funding opportunity here.
