Innosuisse on the road in Switzerland

Innosuisse is active on the ground. Reaching its target audience and making its funding opportunities known is vital for the Swiss Innovation Agency. It organises or co-organises a number of events throughout the year to promote innovation across Switzerland.

We look forward to meeting you at these events and helping you launch innovation projects.

Past events

Personal contact with research institutions is important to us. This is why we are accompanying the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF this autumn on its Tour de Suisse visiting selected universities. We will outline our funding instruments in a short presentation and be available at the booth to answer individual questions. Participation is free and no registration is required.


Set up innovation projects successfully with Innosuisse

12 November 2019, FHNW, Olten

At an event co-organised with the Swiss Venture Club, entrepreneurs report on their experience in submitting and realising an innovation project funded by Innosuisse. Guests learn more about Innosuisse’s funding instruments, receive first-hand tips and tricks and can network with like-minded people.

The “Social Innovation – Research, Funding, Practice” conference brings together research funding bodies, researchers and targeted partners from practice to discuss, with the help of specific projects, the requirements and needs of practice, research and funding bodies. It aims to delve into the topic of funding social innovation to get it up and running.


Innosuisse Roadshow

4 September 2019, ETH Zurich

Innosuisse will present its funding instruments and initiatives at a roadshow at ETH Zurich. In this context, it will be addressing the support for innovation projects it provides in collaboration with research partners and SMEs. An overview of the funding opportunities for start-ups, in particular the new scale-up coaching, rounds off the programme. The ETH Industry Day will take place immediately afterwards, while Innosuisse will continue to be available for bilateral discussions.

Innosuisse, Empa, and CSEM and are jointly organizing a promotion event for the European funding initiative ECSEL. The Joint Technology Initiative for Electronic Components and Systems for the European Leadership (ECSEL) supports transboundary R&D projects in digitalization, developing marketable products in the fields of micro- and nanoelectronics, system integration and intelligent systems. The aim of this event is to increase the awareness and potential of the ECSEL program among SMEs, industry and university representatives in Switzerland, with special reference to the next Smart Systems Call from ECSEL in 2020.


Innosuisse Roadshow

11 June 2019, EPFL, Lausanne

To showcase its latest offers, Innosuisse is at the EPFL campus on 11 June 2019 for a roadshow. One of the discussion topics is support for innovation projects carried out jointly by research partners and SMEs. The programme also include an overview of the funding opportunities for start-ups, and in particular the new scale-up coaching offer. The event finish with a drinks reception, giving interested parties the chance to put their questions to Innosuisse managers.  


Workshop Innovation Activators

9 May 2019, Welle 7, Berne station

The Innovation Activators approach enables companies to identify, evaluate and exploit innovation potential. Interactions between the company’s employees, customers and partners, such as suppliers, are the starting point for systematically identifying existing potential. This workshop provides basic knowledge on how to implement this approach.


Public support for innovation in Switzerland

27 March 2019, Markthalle, Basel

The “Public Support for Innovation in Switzerland” conference brings together the various players involved in promoting innovation in Switzerland to stimulate discussions. The conference contributes to regional, cantonal and national activities in the field of innovation promotion and support for SMEs. The event is held annually. In addition to presentations and discussions, participants can talk to the various players involved in public support for innovation who are present on the stands.

This event is organised in collaboration with Innosuisse, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Conference of Heads of Cantonal Departments of Economic Affairs (CDEP).
