A total funding budget of an estimated CHF 86 million is available for this Swiss Accelerator call for projects. The next step is for around 100 applicant companies to submit a full application. They will be invited to do so by Innosuisse after their short application has been assessed.
With the Swiss Accelerator, Innosuisse launched a competitive funding offer in April as a transitional measure for Horizon Europe, as Swiss start-ups and SMEs currently do not have access to the Accelerator Grants of the European Innovation Council (EIC).
Experts for the evaluation
Innosuisse has recruited 50 additional experts to evaluate applications under the Swiss Accelerator. From the 244 applications received, the Innovation Council submitted a total of 50 people to the Innosuisse Board of Directors for election in April.
44 percent of the elected experts are women. 14% are Italian-speaking, 18% francophone. They all have a high level of business expertise in various innovation sectors. They began their mandate on 1st of May.
