InvestHorizon: An accelerator programme for deep-tech SMEs

InvestHorizon is an accelerator programme for deep-tech SMEs. It enables them to gain access to financial support and global networks and foster sustainability and scalability. This programme is financed by the European Commission in association with EUREKA.

The accelerator programme InvestHorizon is designed to:

  • facilitate access to series A funding for selected deep-tech companies
  • open up access to global networks
  • support SMEs with free services, such as webinars, online courses and an online community and with boot camps, coaching, workshops and pitching events (for selected participants only)

500 applications from deep-tech companies are accepted each year with application windows every three months. The next deadlines are:

  • 30 July 2020
  • 2 November 2020
  • 31 January 2021
  • 27 May 2021
What are the application requirements for the InvestHorizon programme?
To meet the eligibility criteria, the company must:
 
  • be based in an eligible country
  • focus on a deep-tech field (this means any technology-based company with a long innovation cycle that has high go-to-market risks and costs and requires patient capital)
  • have raised a seed round of investment in the past three years of around EUR 200K (or grant funding of over EUR 500K)
  • be seeking a series A investment round of at least EUR 2.5 million over the next two to three years
  • be committed (it must actively participate in the programme if selected)
Please complete your application form online and take care to submit a letter of intent from a prospective investor or investment advisor along with the application.
 
The programme is run by a consortium coordinated by TechTour.
