Federal Council adopts transitional measure for «Horizon Europe»

«Swiss Accelerator» for start-ups and SMEs

Switzerland is currently considered a non-associated third country in terms of the EU’s Horizon Europe framework program. Swiss SMEs and especially start-ups are therefore not eligible to apply for funding from the «EIC Accelerator». The Federal Council is already putting part of the RIPA revision into force and has adopted a transitional measure with this in mind. Innosuisse will thus publish the call for projects for the highly competitive «Swiss Accelerator» on 1 April 2022.

This funding programme is aimed at individual start-ups and SMEs that are carrying out an innovation project with considerable innovation potential and the goal of quickly and efficiently marketing innovative new products and services.
